 Acoustic Board

Description:

                 Nautica IMO RMW acoustic board is an excellent sound absorbing fiberglass hullboard with a reinforced polyester film facing that provides both a vapor barrier and is resistant to hydrocarbons and most chemicals.  It is approved by both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard for thermal and acoustic treatments in the machinery spaces in ships.  It can also be used in mechanical rooms in commercial buildings.

                 Installation is with insulation pins and clips, and joints can be covered with fiberglass lagging tape or a matching reinforced polyester tape.
