Nautica IMO PFG

 Acoustic Board

Description:

Nautica IMO PFG acoustic board is an excellent sound absorbing fiberglass hullboard with a perforated glass cloth facing that provides both a tough, paintable finish, yet allows sound to be easily absorbed.  The grooves in the fiberglass board allow the board to be painted without loss of acoustic value.  It is approved by both the U.S. Navy (MIL-A-23054 Mod.) and the U.S. Coast Guard for thermal and acoustic treatments in ships.  It can also be used in mechanical rooms in commercial buildings.

Installation is with insulation pins and clips, and joints can be covered with fiberglass lagging tape.
