|
Description: Nautica Mineral Wool Insulation with IMO CF combines fire performance with a thermal and acoustic insulation. It has a tough, paintable, white fiberglass facing. It is generally used on bulkheads, decks and stiffeners.
It is approved by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG 164.109 and 164.112/0059/0) for thermal applications on ships. If the 7A# density wool is used, it provides structural fire insulation meeting IMO SOLAS (164.107) requirements. It can also be used in mechanical rooms in commercial buildings.
Installation is with insulation pins and clips, and joints can be covered with fiberglass lagging tape. . |
